In this course vehicle operators will become familiar with terminology and liability issues that relate to the operation of a motor vehicle in an emergency capacity. The course includes hands-on driving exercises that will enhance an individual's ability to operate a vehicle during an emergency situation. Participants will learn and demonstrate their individual vehicle control and performance limitations.
This course meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements Driving Course #2046.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Course Completion Requirements
- Provide a suitable vehicle that will be used in an emergency driving situation. Maximum of two participants per vehicle.
