This course meets or exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 472 Standard for Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents Chapter 8, “Competencies for Incident Commanders,” and Code of Federal Regulations 29 CFR 1910.120 (q)(6)(v) for Incident Command-level personnel.
Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the required written and skills tests receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) certification.

Personal Protective Equipment
- PPE Level 1 as described in the TEEX Student Safety Manual. All students are required to follow this manual at all times.
- You must wear regular work attire for training activities and classroom sessions.
- You may not wear to any class or field activity:
- sleeveless shirts
- open-toed shoes
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend 100% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion and to sit for the Pro Board certification exam.

Personnel who respond to emergencies involving Hazardous Materials (HazMat)/Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) as an Incident Commander and who will be responsible for all incident activities, including the development of strategies and tactics and the ordering and release of resources.

Annual Fire Training School Registration Requirements
Annual Schools require that you use the online registration system. If you are using a Purchase Order please place the number in the PO field for payment. Please know we must have a copy of the PO or voucher within 48 hours of your registration or you will be canceled out of the class.
