The Hazardous Waste Management (RCRA) Refresher course provides participants in need of an annual update with a review of those important concepts and procedures required for compliance with hazardous waste regulations. Case studies discussed provide students with information surrounding the most common violations as well as any new regulations.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 100% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.
Prior Training Courses or Knowledge
It is recommended, but not required, participants complete the Chemistry for Environmental Professionals (ENV235) course.

This is a required EPA training course for managers, supervisors, environmental coordinators, health and safety coordinators, technicians, and consultants who manage or handle Hazardous Wastes at LQGs or TSDFs. SQGs are also required by the regulations to be thoroughly familiar with the compliance issues discussed in this course.
