The Hazardous Waste Management course utilizes the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to provide participants with the training required to identify and classify regulated hazardous wastes generated by facilities utilizing EPA standards specific to the accumulation and storage of such materials. Students completing this training will have met related training requirements found in 40 CFR 262 for Large, Small, Conditionally Exempt, and Very Small Quantity Generators.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Class attendance is an essential part of the education process and participants in TEEX courses are expected to attend all class sessions and field exercises. This course requires participants to attend a minimum of 80% of the class hours as a component of successful course completion. During the course, your instructor will review any additional attendance requirements, for example a field exercise that cannot be missed.
Prior Training Courses or Knowledge
It is recommended, but not required, participants complete the Chemistry for Environmental Professionals (ENV235) course prior to registration.
