13 complete UXO Technician I program

COLLEGE STATION - Thirteen students graduated Feb. 19 from the TEEX Unexploded Ordnance Technician I class #66. The students came from eight states as well as Ontario, Canada.

The 200-hour program is eligible for VA education benefits and education credit from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). It is the only civilian school originally certified by the Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board.

Seven students from this class and one student from a previous UXO Tech I class will also earn the TEEX Ordnance Removal and Remediation Technician Certificate on March 4. To earn the certificate, students must complete UXO Tech I, Demining, Heavy Equipment Operator for Ordnance Workers and Hazwoper for Clean-Up Operations.
