The TEEX Heavy Equipment Program believes industry professionals in the construction, utilities, and oil production industries responsible for safe equipment operation, have a requirement to be well-trained, qualified, and productive. Whether a scraper, bulldozer, motor grader, front-end loader, excavator, dump truck, crane, or other types of heavy equipment, TEEX provides operators with the basic and advanced skills required to safely operate machinery in all environments. TEEX believes hands-on training is imperative and provides opportunities for all skill levels to participate in field exercises complemented by traditional classroom training. The Heavy Equipment Program also offers specialized online safety awareness short courses covering work zone safety, excavation safety, and confined space entry; each providing industry professionals with valuable information in preventative maintenance, machine mechanical systems, and safe work practices.
