Morley named TEEX Interim Director

Tom V. Morley has been named Interim Director of TEEX. Morley joined TEEX as a Division Head in 2000 after serving as Director of Training, Quality and Development for the Texas Department of Transportation. He is currently Director of the Engineering, Utilities and Public Works Training Institute and Division Head of Law Enforcement and Security Training.

His previous management experience covers the gamut of adult education and training, quality management and continuous improvement, and organizational development of large, multi-functional organizations. A retired Army Colonel, Morley served in numerous command and staff positions in his 26-year career. He also has served as an assistant professor and curriculum director at a university.

Morley's appointment was approved by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents on Sept. 27, 2002.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Texas A&M University, a master’s in management from Webster University and a master’s in public administration from Penn State University. He also holds a PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification.
