Industrial Fire Brigade - Exterior is a hands-on refresher course designed to provide an overview of the knowledge and skills to emergency responders who have previously been certified in NFPA 1081 Industrial Fire Brigade - Exterior. This open enrollment non-certification course reviews firefighter safety and survival skills; basic fire definitions and concepts related to fire chemistry and the behavior of fire. Participants will also practice donning and doffing of personal protective equipment (PPE) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and discuss firefighting extinguishing tools including master stream, salvage and overhaul. Participants will have extended opportunities to refresh these knowledge and skills through extended burn times culminating with a two-three prop burn scenario.
Must supply NFPA 1081 TEEX Exterior Certificate
