This course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required for certification to Driver/Operator-Aerial as described in Chapters 4 and 6 of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1002, Standard for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to operate an aerial apparatus during emergency situations. You will have the opportunity to practice apparatus operations, aerial positioning and stabilization, and aerial tactics.
In addition, participants who successfully complete the course and pass the written and skills test will receive a National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board) national certification.

You are required to provide documentation of being certified in the following:
Prerequisite certifications must be either Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP), International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Quailifications (NBFSQ, i.e. Pro Board). The documentation you provide as proof of prerequisite must meet these requirements.
