This course covers topics such as: General requirements, Planning and Development, and Evaluation.

Prerequisites

Students Should Bring: A fire education program that they use in their jurisdiction (unique, especially locally-developed programs) for class presentation and demonstration. Students should also bring a T-shirt or other clothing suitable for painting for the Monday class and a copy of IFSTA Third Edition Fire and Life Safety Educational Manual.

Suggested Audience

All emergency response personnel, including fire prevention, suppressions, control and safety personnel.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Attire

  • The same type of clothing as worn on normal duty, including bunker gear, which is NFPA 1971 compliant.
  • Students should also bring a T-shirt or other clothing suitable for painting for the Monday class

Class Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - noon

Registration Requirements

Annual Schools require that you use the online registration system. If you are using a Purchase Order (including H.B. 2604 voucher) please place the number in the PO field for payment. Please know we must have a copy of the PO or voucher within 48 hours of your registration or you will be canceled out of the class.

Late Registration

The full rate will be applied after the early-bird registration deadline.
