This course will provide the student / responder with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to fulfill the most essential duties of a Public Safety Telecommunicator in a modern Communications Center. While the student may find that the exercises, knowledge and information this course provides are different from both personal experience and agency requirement, this course is designed to provide the widest understanding and the most information to the student about the general principles and requirements for the Public Safety Telecommunicator.
There are no prerequisites for this course.

All emergency response personnel, including fire prevention, suppression, control and safety personnel; especially those interested in emergency communications.
This course is designed for individuals who provide emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for:
- Fire departments
- Emergency medical services
- Law enforcement
This course consists of four modules and four practical exercises over the course of 36 hours.
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - noon
