Course Description


EOT230 - Explosives Foundations Course - 40.00 Hours

Description

TEEX / ISSEE offers this 5 day course is to provide the participant with the basic knowledge required to handle and use explosives safely. On successful completion of the course the individual will receive ISSEE and City & Guilds certification providing international certification. Participants will learn the principles and objectives of explosive trains, different applications of high and low explosives including power and effects. Through the introduction of Standing Operating Procedures students will learn the responsibilities of supervisors and personnel carrying out explosive demolition operations. Explosives Health & Safety and First Aid in respect of blast injuries will be discussed. This course provides the opportunity to handle and use explosives confidently and competently, including the making up of ring mains and line detonation systems.
