Course Description


HWS002 - Work Zone Traffic Control - Open Enrollment - 16.00 Hours

Description

You can earn qualification through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service’s course – Work Zone Traffic Control (HWS002). Work zones are dangerous work places and can become deadly if traffic control is not set up properly. Preparedness - particularly training - is the key minizing potential liability due to work zone collisions. This course provides necessary training in the basics of work zone traffic control. Participants will learn the importance of complying with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and all relative Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) standards which apply to TxDOT roadways including the Interstate System.

Designed for contractors, this is the open enrollment, fee-based version of Work Zone Traffic Control.
