This TEEX CSHO track is designed for personnel who perform safety and health work in active oil and gas fields, refineries or chemical processing facilities; or for those who have safety responsibilities over multiple environments and locations, including inspections and audits. Specialty tracks within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical program have also been developed for Drilling & Well-Services, Refinery, Pipeline and the Cameron Corporate Track.
All courses must be taken through TEEX, the OSHA Training Institute (Chicago, IL), or the Transportation Safety Institute (Oklahoma City, OK).
* ALL Medic First Aid trainer cards acceptable as long as they are current.
Three electives are required for this TEEX CSHO:
* Must be current.
(NOTE: If the Oil & Gas Trainer is approved in 2009-2010, this will be the preferred trainer course for this track.)
Provides approximately 346 hours of safety-specific training and up to 34.6 CEUs, depending upon the courses selected.
