The Texas Engineering Extension Service has joined with San Juan College and Texas A&M University-Commerce to offer safety professionals an exciting new opportunity to earn a college degree. This unique program allows qualified safety professionals who already hold a TEEX Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) certificate to earn a college degree while holding down a full-time job. You can receive 18 hours of college credit for your TEEX CSHO certificate and complete your degree requirements online through San Juan College and Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Your TEEX CSHO certificate qualifies you for 18 hours of college credit at San Juan College, Farmington, New Mexico.
* TEEX courses are accepted in the Occupational Safety A.A.S. degree at San Juan College. Successful completion of any approved TEEX CSHO (225 hours) certificate will transfer as 18 credit hours towards the SJC A.A.S. degree.
Earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Occupational Safety from San Juan College, Farmington, New Mexico.
Required credit hours for A.A.S. degree: 71 credit hrs which includes TEEX CSHO: 18 credit hrs (maximum)
Earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences Degree online from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Required credit hours for BAAS degree: 121 credit hours
