This course offered as part of the TEEX/NERRTC Domestic Preparedness Campus. Upon course completion, participants will possess a basic understanding of the federal controlling authorities for WMD/terrorism incidents; an overview of the Incident Command System (ICS) for WMD/terrorism incidents; and a knowledge of the federal resources available to assist and support their jurisdiction in the event of a WMD/terrorism incident.

The CareerSafe online program is an interactive, Y2Y (Youth Teaching Youth) online program that addresses the high-priority safety training needs of young workers. Throughout the program, students explore a wide range of topics including laws, guidelines, behaviors, and equipment intended to help them Start Safe and Stay Safe.
Once a student successfully completes the online CareerSafe course, he or she receives a wallet card that demonstrates that the student has the fundamental safety knowledge needed in the workplace.

Online Courses
A new web-based course, Online Hazardous Material Awareness (WWW351), has been launched by the Water and Wastewater Program of TEEX's Infrastructure and Training Institute. The one-hour awareness-level course will provide utility workers with a better understanding of the dangers presented by hazardous materials in the workplace and prepare them to protect themselves, others and the environment.
The course is aimed primarily at water, wastewater and other public works and infrastructure personnel, to promote workplace safety and provide a basic, awareness-level training in hazardous material.

Correspondence Courses
The TEEX Water and Wastewater Correspondence Course Program allows you to complete Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)water and wastewater requirements in the comfort of your own home. Our correspondence courses are especially helpful to those who live in rural areas where water/wastewater classes may not be regularly held.
Each course is approved for 20 hours of CEU credit in Texas by TCEQ for licensing or renewal licensing.
Please Note: In accordance with 30 TAC 30.28(p)(3)(c), correspondence courses repeated within the same renewal period will not receive training credit if the training uses the same performance-based assessment.
