Do I have to keep my Medic First Aid certification current?

No, you do not have to keep your Medic Trainer card current to keep your TEEX CSHO current. If you plan to continue to teach Medic CPR/First Aid, you need to keep your trainer card current with Medic, but it does not affect your TEEX CSHO status. We only request that for new TEEX CSHO applications, the Medic Trainer card be current at the time of CSHO application (the same applies to H2S Trainer cards). In keeping in line with current OSHA trainer regulations, applicable OSHA Trainer cards must be kept current to keep the TEEX CSHO card valid.
