Description
This course is to introduce participants to the challenges and special considerations of treating pediatric patients exposed to chemical nerve agents.

Topics
- Introduce the participant on assessments of pediatric patients exposed to nerve agents using the PAT system
- Identify signs and symptoms of a pediatric patient exposed to a nerve agent
- Introduce the participant to the JumpSTART system of triage
- Discuss considerations specific to decontamination techniques of the pediatric patient
- Identify the appropriate treatment for the pediatric patient exposed to nerve agents.
