Description

This course trains emergency responders and their supervisors and managers in the skills necessary to effectively plan for and manage a WMD/terrorism incident by adapting the existing Incident Command System (ICS) to the unique challenges posed by the integration of local, state, and federal agencies and departments into a unified command structure. The course uses a multidiscipline, jurisdictional teambuilding approach to accomplish the learning objectives. Upon course completion, participants will possess a working knowledge of local, state, and federal agency roles and responsibilities and their integration into a unified command system for crisis or consequence management.
