How to Schedule a Course

As part of the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium (NDPC), TEEX offers special Homeland Security courses funded by the National Homeland Security Training Program. Tuition in these courses, for qualified participants, is paid by the federal government.

These courses may be offered on-site anywhere in the United States and U.S. territories. Because theses courses are funded by the Department of Homeland Security, the training is provided to you at no cost.

Because the course is taught within your jurisdiction, you will have access to hands-on, small-group discussions with colleagues from other public works agencies. As a course participant, you will also have the chance to share your knowledge and experience while working through realistic, multimedia scenarios.

What is Provided to You

  • Instructional team/facilitators (including team’s travel and per diem costs and instructional materials
  • All instructional materials and handouts for participants
  • CEUs and course completion certificates (given to course participants attending 85 percent of course and who have completed the prerequisites)

What You Should Provide
