The Texas Fire Officer Program (TFOP)

A comprehensive fire officer training and leadership program. Utilizing the courses:

All courses meet NFPA 1021 training requirements. These courses are prerequisites for the Fire Service Chief Executive Officer (FSCEO) capstone program.

Prerequisites for FSCEO Course:

Track I

Fire Officer I
Fire Officer II
Fire Officer III/IV

OR

Fire Officer I
Fire Officer II
Texas Fire Chief's Academy

Track II
Ten years of command staff experience in emergency response. This command experience will be verified by resume. Command staff experience is defined as work conducted above the tactical level, specifically working in administration or related strategic departmental duties.

Track III
Five years of command staff experience in emergency response. This command experience will be verified by resume. Command staff experience is defined as work conducted above the tactical level, specifically working in administration or related strategic departmental duties.

AND
Bachelor degree in related field.
