Grants, vouchers, and even funding application assistance are available for Annual School participants:

• The Texas Forest Service Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program (HB 2604) offers grants that provide 100% of the actual cost of tuition not to exceed $70 per day up to a maximum of $490 per trainee, and not to exceed $3,500 per school per department.

• The Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) Center for Community Support (CCS) provides no-cost grant research and grant writing assistance to Texas community-based non-profit organizations.
• The Texas Commission on Fire Protection provides training scholarships as well.
