The Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is a recognized leader in championing worker safety and health as the OSHA Training Institute Southwest Education Center. But many of our customers realize TEEX provides more than occupational safety and health training through federal OSHA courses. The TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official Program (CSHO), which is recognized by CCHEST, has proven beneficial to hundreds of safety and health professionals and can also be applied to OHST certification. The TEEX CSHO also counts for 18 college credit hours towards an Associate of Applied Science degree from San Juan College, Farmington, NM, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

These OSHA trainers average 17 years in job-site, safety-related occupations and 12 years in industry-specific hazard recognition, evaluation and control methods.
