TEEX Certified Safety and Health Official Program (CSHO)

Becoming a TEEX CSHO allows you to specialize in specific areas of industry, further enhancing your opportunities for career advancement. Specialize in any of the following areas:
Benefits To Participants of the TEEX CSHO Program
- Gain a solid and broad-based education in the Safety and Health field with 220 or more hours* of training (depending on the TEEX CSHO track selected) by nationally known instructors
- Receive credit for your previous training at TEEX-OSHA or OSHA Training Institute, Arlington Heights, IL
- Training is verifiable by any employer and transferable from employer to employer
- Increase your awareness of changing federal regulations
- Enhance your potential for advancement
- Certification of program completion is provided by TEEX. The Council on Certification of Health, Environmental and Safety Technologists (CCHEST)also recognizes the TEEX CSHO Program as experience credit toward its OHST Certification Program
- Join an elite network of TEEX CSHOs
*Minimum number of required classroom hours for TEEX CSHO are not transferable to or from any other program.
TEEX CSHO Program in Brief
- Complete six (6) core courses plus two (2) or three (3) elective courses
- No college degree required
- No time limits – Program is self-paced
- No annual CEUs – Just keep your OSHA 500 and OSHA 501 current every four years
- No annual membership dues
TEEX CSHO Recommendation
